* Aragaja Pottu is a mesmerising exotic black paste, and is one of the Ashtagandha (aromatic substances) applied on deities after the snana (holy bath), usually on the eyes and on the forehead, to mark the protection of the ajna chakra. Made of aromatic herbs and resins, mainly used in devi sadhanas.
* This paste, when applied to the forehead, gives the power of Vashikaran and desire fulfilment and drives evil forces away.
