•A substantial portion of the Ramayana, an ancient Hindu epic, is termed ""Ayodhya Kand"". The Ramayana, a proverbial Sanskrit epic attributed to the sage Valmiki, tells the tale of Lord Rama and his exploits as he pursues his holy mission.
• The Ramayana is broken up into seven kands, which are volumes or portions. The Ayodhya Kand, which follows the Balakanda (Book of Childhood), is the second volume of the Ramayana.
• It concentrates on what happens in the capital of the kingdom commanded by Rama's father, King Dasharatha, in the city of Ayodhya. The events leading up to Rama's exile from Ayodhya are the main focus of the Ayodhya Kand.
• Rama is getting ready to be crowned as the prince and legitimate heir to the throne when it starts. Rama is exiled to the wilderness for fourteen years, though, as a result of a string of disastrous incidents and the influence of the cunning Kaikeyi, one of King Dasharatha's wives.
• Rama, Sita, his devoted brother Lakshmana, and other significant characters are all explored in The Ayodhya Kand in terms of their feelings and reactions. Rama, who voluntarily accepts his exile in order to uphold his father's pledge, is shown to have a strong sense of responsibility and honour in this story.
• The Ramayan Ayodhya Kand also depicts the sorrow and agony experienced by King Dasharatha and the residents of Ayodhya upon Rama's departure.
• The Ayodhya Kand serves as a prelude to the other books of the Ramayana, which detail Rama's exploits while he was exiled, his run-ins with numerous creatures and demons, and eventually his quest to save Sita from the demon king Ravana.
