Guruvayurappan is a form of Vishnu worshipped mainly in Kerela. He is the presiding Deity of Guruvayoor temple, who is being worshiped as Shri Krishna in His child form (Balagopalan), popularly known as Guruvayur Unnikkannan (Guruvayur baby Krishna). Since the idol had been installed by Brihaspati and Vayu, the place came to be known as Guruvayur, and the Deity came to be known as Guruvayurappan
Here are some of the uses of this product:
• Golu is a doll and figurine festival held in South India during Navaratri and Dussehra. It is a set of steps decorated with bommais (dolls) of all shapes and sizes to tell a story about a Hindu or secular cultural issue. Every Kolu needs a refreshing twist with beautiful handmade dolls.
• The Deity is made of a stone called ""Patala Anjanam"" or black bismuth, and is in the standing pose with four arms, carrying the Panchajanya (shanku or conch), the Sudarshana Chakra (chakra or disc), the Kaumodaki (gada or mace), and the Padma (lotus).
• Guruvayurappan is a traditional golu doll, crafted with clay. Each piece is meticulously hand-painted by artisans.
• Decorate your Kolu Padi with this unique collection of Golu bommai for this Navarathri from Giri.
• This kolu bommai is an excellent gift for festivals such as Navaratri, Diwali, and housewarmings.
• During Navaratri, people visit each other's homes to see the Golu display and offer prayers. It is considered an auspicious time to seek blessings from the Divine and to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
• This Dassara doll stands apart from usual golu doll because it is painted in vivid, rich colors with a different composition and definition.
• Additionally, Giri offers a wide range of plastic Golu padis and all decor items to create an enchanting ambiance for this Navaratri festival.
