Parthasarathy Thirukkoil Sthala puranam

Sthalapuranam are the literatures that gives history of a shrine dating back from its inception to the present days. This Sthalapuranam is about Thiruvallikeni, one of the Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams, located in the heart of Chennai city. The sthalam (shrine) gives descriptions about the origins of the five different forms of Sriman Narayana, identified and worshipped here. The date of this temple goes the age of Sri Veda Vyasa and Saptha Rishis and is closely related to Sri Yamunacharya and Sri Ramanuja.
