Plate Pottu Prath

This a round shaped thick brass plate (thambalam) comes with shallow bottom. Has enough space to accommodate fillers. It is a multipurpose plate and finds an important place in kitchens. Sastra recommends copper / brass based utensils for storing grains, fruits or using in Pooja or aradhana. Usually given along with other utensils as seedhanam (wedding gifts) given by brides parents.
