• This Sadari is made of copper. Mostly Sadari are silver or gold coated. We get blessed with Sadari in Perumal, Ramar, Vishnu, Anjaneyar temple etc.
• After the prayer, Theertham, Sadari, and Thulasi are distributed at Vaishnava temples.
• One is expected to bow their head down after receiving the Theertham in order to receive the Sadari.
• Satari is thought to be Sri Nammalwar's (also known as ""Sadagopan"") form. If we humbly kneel before the holy feet, all of our sins would be forgiven, as Sri Nammalwar claims in his Thiruvaaimozhi.
• The two feet at the top of the Sadari, known as the thiruvadis, are claimed to be Sriman Narayanan's feet, and Sri Nammalwar is believed to be carrying the Thiruvadi of Sriman Narayanan on his head.
• Satari may be characterised as Thirumal's (Perumal's) foot and the kireedam (divine crown).
• Bowing and accepting the sadari is equivalent to falling on and surrendering to the feet of Lord Thirumal.
