When it comes to Indian Classical music, particularly Karnatik Sangeetham, the era of three saints is the most spoken of and their kirtans, the most sung and well-known. Sangita Mummoortigal, also known as Isai Moovar in Tamil and Musical Trinity, and Three Jewels of Music in English, refers to the three great composers who made a revolution and popularised Carnatic Music. They are Shyama Shastri, Tyagaraja, and Mutthuswami Dikshitar. All three composers were born in Thiruvarur, formerly part of Thanjavur District in Tamilnadu. Dikshitar mainly composed in Sanskrit and Manipravalam (Tamil and Sanskrit), while Tyagaraja and Syama Sastri mainly composed in Telugu. The Trinity of Carnatic music composed new ragas and talas, and had a remarkable ability to introduce innovations within the same raga.

Product Features:
• The trinity has been immortalised in clay form to adorn your golu and Navratri celebrations.
• Crafted and painted with care by skilled artisans.
• There is no better way to offer an ode to their contribution in classical music than to display these gracious bommais as part of golu.
• Makes the perfect gift to someone who cherishes classical music. Also ideal when kept in places of learning music, like in academies and classes.
