Lalitha Sahasranamam is composed by Ashta Vaag Devis. This is mentioned in Brahamanda Purana and was revealed by Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva to Sage Agastya. It should be understood that reciting this Sahasranama is possible only if Sri Lalitha Parameswari, wishes one to do so. Hence it is considered to be the blessing. Reciting the thousand names of this deity brings the blessings and vigour to overcome the hurdles or problems one faces due to karma.
