Sri Lalitha is the explicity female form of the Supreme along with her consort Sri Shiva. The slokas are organised in the form of Kesadhi padham. It is said have to been composed by eight Vaag Devis. She is referred in Saguna (with all good qualities) as well as Nirguna. The uniqueness of this sloka is that the names mentioned, do not get repeated. This sahasranama is not only used to worship Sri Lalitha, but also to the forms like Sri Parvathi, Sri Kali, Sri Saraswathi and Sri Durga. This sahasranama is found in Brahamanda Purana.
